Please note that results from Round 8 will issued by the NJ BPU at its April 25, 2018 meeting. We will provide notice to the Round 8 bidders regarding the outcome of their bid applications on or about the 26th of April.
Please note that Solicitation Round 9 will be issued on or about May 1, 2018. The bid window will be open for approximately 2 months after issuance. This is the final round of the SREC-II program. We strongly encourage all developers interested in securing a 10-year SREC PSA to begin identification of potential client projects now, and well in advance of the Solicitation Round open date.

We highly advise all parties who have registered in our online application system to submit your bid application as early as possible, including today. The online application system will automatically close at 5PM on February 14 to new submissions.

Due to recent events that impact the New Jersey solar industry, the SREC-II Round 8 bid due date has been extended to February 14, 2018 by 5PM ET to allow submitters time to finalize their proposals.
Bidders are advised to submit their bids as early as possible via the online application dashboard in advance of the bid due date.
As a reminder, all bids under the 8th Round of the NJ SREC-II program are due by 5PM EST on January 31, 2018.
Parties that are interested in submitting a bid in this Round must due so using our entirely online bid application available on the Application Dashboard section of the NJSolarProgram.com site. To register for access, please submit your request on the Register page.
An example of the full bid application for reference is available in the Documents section of the site. Please note, as with prior rounds, there are two documents that may need to be signed by the customer and/or the host and uploaded via the online bid application:
- Customer Acknowledgement – Applicable to all bid applications
- Appendix C – Host Acknowledgement – Applicable to bids where the owner of the Solar PV system (signatory to the SREC PSA) is different from the entity that owns the premises where it is located. Click below to download the Appendix C organized by the applicable EDC:

Round 8 of the NJ SREC-II Program is now open. Bids are due January 31, 2018 by 5PM Eastern. As this is the second to final round authorized by the BPU, prospective bidders are advised to bring forth their projects and submit their most competitive bid prices possible in order to maximize their chances to secure an award.

Please note that awards under Round 7 of the SREC-II program have been issued to the successful bidders. We would like to thank all who have participated in Round 7 of the SREC-II based financing program. The following is the summary of the results from Round 7:
Segment 1. Residential and Small Commercial (50 kW and below):
- 36 bids were received, totaling 455.86 kW
- 28 bid awards were made, totaling 343.00 kW
- 8 bids were rejected because the pricing was found not to be competitive
- The average accepted price per SREC in Segment 1 was $155.00
Segment 2. Residential & Small Commercial (Greater than 50 kW):
- 12 bids were received, totaling 5,609.78 kW
- 11 bid awards were made, totaling 5,211.60 kW
- 1 bid was rejected because the pricing was found not to be competitive
- The average accepted price per SREC in Segment 2 was $141.65
Segment 3. Subsection t. Landfills, Brownfields, or Areas of Historic Fill (Up to 5.2 MW):
- No bids were received in this round.
The Round 7 awards under the NJ SREC-II based financing program will now be considered at the November 21 BPU meeting. Awards will be announced shortly after this date.
